Marvel Comics' The Reckoning War event begins in January 2022, featuring the return of a orphic wicked force which author Dan Slott tells Newsarama hasn't been approximately in over 40 years. And while the identity of these antagonists continue Wonder's (and Slott's) close held secret, Newsarama has the first look at four of them.

While the villainous force of The Reckoning War apparently ges back to the '70s (or even earlier), these quaternity are newly-premeditated characters - substance they're new characters start out of an already-estabished Marvel scoundrel group, or they're people fans might know just under new names and revolutionary clothes (hey, everybody deserves a makeover!)

"These are characters that let not really been around since their groundbreaking appearance," Slott tells Newsarama. "The real fact that they're rearwards, is something. The minute they walk onto the comics page... at one time people agnize who they are and what they've done in the ult, every part of your body will clinch. These characters should non be back. The very fact that they are back means sentence."

These villains (and The Reckoning Warfare) are completely somehow connected to what Slott is calling Wonder Comics' "first war," eons before Secret Wars, The Kree/Skrull War, and more.

"There's going to be a seminal moment at the start of The Enumeration Warfare which will actually define the stakes of it complete," Slott says. "And at one time we realize World Health Organization the antagonists are, what they want, and wherefore, everything volition cost understood."

The Reckoning War Alpha is closed by Carlos Pacheco, with Rachael Stott drawing the A-one Quaternity issues.

"One of the most playfulness things about this job is writing 'holy crap' moments. In The Reckoning War Alpha and the Fantastic Cardinal issues, in that location's a 'dedicated crap' moment every couple of pages," the writer continues. "'WHAT?! Did they just do that?!' Yes, we did."

The outcome kicks bump off January 5, 2022 with The Reckoning State of war Alpha.

IT looks like-minded we might have to lay down some adjustments to our best Marvel supervillains list in the near approaching.
