Watch the 'Stranger Things' Season 2 Trailer

At San Diego Comic-Con today, Netflix provided a start glimpse at season two of its hit serial Stranger Things, and it'll take you dusting off your vinyl copy of "Thriller."

Will Byers has returned from the Upside Down, but as the closing scenes of flavor 1 suggested, he's not completely free from the nightmarish alternative reality. During a trip to the arcade with his friends, Volition suddenly returns to the Upside Down and witnesses a menacing heaven and a flash of The Monster, until Mike snaps him out of it.

"Zip's going to go dorsum to the manner that it was," a voiceover says, as the opening to "Thriller" slowly builds. Especially for Will, who is not doing and so well later his journey to the dark side. "A bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived," according to Netflix.

The gang is on the case, with the help of some essential 80s gear—Ghostbusters proton packs and ghost traps. But their underground weapon is notwithstanding in the Upside Down; or is she?
